Step by Step
- Connect the iPhone with a data-capable cable.
- Unlock the iPhone.
- Choose Trust or Allow if asked.
- Open Windows Photos and use Import, or browse the iPhone in File Explorer when available.
- Select and import/copy the photos.
- Verify the files on the PC before deleting anything from the phone.
If That Doesn't Work
- Some charging cables do not carry data.
- iCloud Photos optimization can affect which originals are locally available.
- Large imports may work better in smaller batches.
