Press Windows+Shift+S, then drag over the part of the screen you want to capture.
Step by Step
- Press Windows+Shift+S.
- Choose the rectangular, freeform, window, or full-screen capture option.
- Select the area you want to capture.
- The image is copied to the clipboard.
- Select the notification if you want to open, mark up, or save the screenshot.
If That Doesn't Work
- Press Print Screen if your keyboard is configured to open screen capture.
- If you only need to paste the capture, use Ctrl+V in an email, document, or image editor.
