Open your router or mesh-system administration page/app, find Wi-Fi or Wireless settings, change the password, and reconnect your devices.
Step by Step
- Connect to your home network.
- Open your router's administration interface using its local address or the manufacturer's management app.
- Sign in with the router administrator credentials.
- Open Wi-Fi, Wireless, or WLAN settings.
- Change the Wi-Fi password for the network you use.
- Save/apply the change.
- Reconnect phones, computers, TVs, printers, and smart devices using the new password.
If That Doesn't Work
- The router administrator password and Wi-Fi password are different credentials.
- Changing the Wi-Fi password disconnects devices that were using the old password.
- If you do not know the router administrator credentials, check its label, documentation, or provider instructions before resetting anything.
